Get to know CURF’s newest Innovation Marketing Graduate Assistant

We are excited to introduce the newest addition to the CURF team, Jackie Hanna! As she pursues a Master’s in Biomedical Engineering and MBA Certificate in Technology Entrepreneurship, Jackie will be joining the marketing team as an Innovation Marketing Graduate Assistant. Through this role, she looks forward to the opportunity to work alongside Clemson University’s inventors in the promotion of their innovations.

Over the past four years at Clemson University, Jackie has gained extensive experience in product development and commercialization, as well as marketing and sales, through internships and research with GE Healthcare, MUSC, MCRA LLC., and Clemson’s Department of Bioengineering. Jackie’s technical background, combined with her marketing experience, will allow her to effectively contribute to the promotion and advancement of the novel technologies developed by Clemson inventors.

As she begins her graduate degree, Jackie is looking forward to taking a deeper dive into medical device commercialization, especially through hands-on projects. She recognizes that learning more about the entire medical device life cycle, through working on the development of a new device at Clemson University, is an incredible opportunity and will directly translate to her work with CURF.

In her free time, you will most likely find Jackie sailing or traveling. Last year, Jackie was president of Clemson’s Sailing Club, and she loves spending as much time on the water as she can (either racing or just sailing for fun).

Welcome, Jackie!
