Get to know CURF’s Digital Marketing Intern

We are excited to introduce the newest addition to the CURF Team, Nicolette Occhifinto! Nicolette is joining the team as a Digital Marketing Intern and will assist in content creation and management of all of our CURF social media platforms. As a marketing major with a minor in nonprofit leadership, she is looking forward to applying her skills to a foundation that makes such an impact on Clemson.

Nicolette’s unique experience both in the corporate marketing and nonprofit sector make her a great asset to our team. She has had professional experience interning at the Dabo’s All In Team Foundation, Nissan North America, and the Clemson Spiro Institute for Entrepreneurial Leadership. While at Clemson, she’s also held multiple leadership roles in the professional business fraternity, Delta Sigma Pi, and has been immersed in a strong business community since freshman year. Her well rounded background and eagerness to learn will translate well to helping her excel in her position at CURF.

As she enters her senior year, Nicolette looks forward to finally applying all that she’s learned in the classroom to her career. Through her role at CURF, she hopes to generate more student engagement, develop a stronger digital presence, and showcase all of the incredible work that CURF does.

After graduation, Nicolette would like to pursue a career in Corporate Philanthropy in hopes of applying her skills and education to better serve her community around her. She is confident that her meaningful professional experiences here at Clemson, especially at CURF, will set help her do just that.

In her free time, Nicolette enjoys horseback riding and traveling around the world with her friends. When she’s not studying or working, you can probably find her planning her next trip!
