CURF offers paid co-op and internship opportunities that give undergraduate and graduate students hands-on experience with the technology transfer process. Interns work closely with professionals at CURF on a part-time basis to gain experience in technology commercialization – this includes learning about technology opportunity assessment, patent protection, technology marketing and licensing.
In this role, interns have the opportunity to develop an understanding of intellectual property, the mechanisms to evaluate, market, and commercialize emerging university technology, and the role of university technology transfer offices in moving technology to market. They support the intellectual property administration and technology commercialization activities at CURF by participating in intellectual property management, technology marketing, technology licensing and commercialization.
We are now accepting internship applications through August 1, 2017. E-mail resume and cover letter to Brittany Souto (firstname.lastname@example.org) to apply.
